we were supposed to drive down to portland on christmas day to see jason's brother and his family, but the snow forced us to reschedule. so we went yesterday. we always have a great time seeing the "portland mcgaws". maud made delicious food, we opened gifts and played with them, tromped around their new property and got an idea of where their future home will be. we also played the game set and just hung out. we all had a terrific time.

Sounds like fun. We had much better weather on Sunday. Nice & warm. I love the new layout on your blog, the colors are fantastic.
Looks fun! And I think that Fort Lewis Starbucks is where I had my first salted caramel hot chocolate... ah, sweet temptation. :)
