the day after we carved pumpkins we went to my aunt & uncles house on lame margaret for a welcome back celebration for my cousin geoff who has been in bolivia with the peace core.
when we got there kial headed right for the lake, which was freezing. i wish i had gotten a picture of her face when she jumped in; it was so cold it took her a second to get her breath back. it was seriously hilarious...yes, i know i am evil! luckily there is a hot tub to get warmed up in between trips to the lake.we are so lucky that auntie barb and uncle norm are so generous with their time and their home. it's like a whirlwind when all 8 shulda grandkids desend upin them, but they always seem happy we came! and we all love going there.

Swimming in a lake in Duval in October?!? Total wackiness. You guys should come over here for the "polar dip" in Lake Chelan in January. I like to cheer people on from a cozy chair at Starbucks....
p.s. - cute pumpkins! I can't believe it - I forgot to save the seeds this year! What was I (not) thinking?!?
