so i tend to be a hoarder and somewhat of a collector. in the last year or 2 i have started buying coffee cups. starbucks coffee cups for the most part. and if they go together i, of course, have to buy the whole set. or just 2 of the same cup so they match.
i LOVE them. i love the big size. i love the way they feel in my hands. i love the various textures. i love the pretty designs. yeah, it's nuts, but i can't seem to help it. i just love those cups.
now i don't like all of them. they have to be big. i also don't like the ones they have with the metal bottoms. but i seem to be able to find at least one or 2 i like every season.
jason is frustrated about the money i am spending on them and REALLY frustrated because we truly have NO room to store them all. our plans of remodeling seem to be way off in the distant future so room for storage is precious right now.
well, i think i have come upon a wonderful solution so i can keep purchasing my cups and make them a useful part of my life...they can help organize my OTHER much bigger and scarier collection; SCRAPBOOK SUPPLIES! now all i need is the shed jason promised me to put this idea to use. of course the deal was i help him pay off a few bills 1st. i guess that means no new cups for a while. *sigh*
***disclaimer...i did not purchase all of the cups, kiki helped me some.
edit-some of the cups in the pictures are one of a set of 2 or 4. yeah, it's even worse than it looks.

i find myself checking daily to see your photo for the day. you have inspired me to scrap again.
i must know where you get the yummy sami, it looks so good!
i think that i will do the 365 thing next year, you make it look so cool, i have no idea what i would ever take a pic a day of- i guess that's the challenge.
what i love about this post is the green starbucks bag in the background anchoring each picture.
where ever do you find the time?
thanks for your creativity and allowing me to nose into your blog.
those are some cute cups.
but i think you may need a 12 step program.
love ya!
doesn't everyone need just one vice? I think the coffee cup vice is yours. Love the cups, they are adorable.
torrie, so nice of you. when kelly gets her big house all finished set up maybe we can convince her to have us both over and we can meet...maybe jaime can come up too.
the sandwich is from PASEO a cuban sandwich place on fremont just south of the zoo. it really is incredible. i may be killed now that i've spilled the secret, but if you try it and like it it will have been worth it.
i bet kelly is loving me right now. adding to her already crazy busy life. and jason LOVED your comment about the 12 step program...he completely agrees.
jaime, if i only had one vice it would be ok, but i seriously have a problem buying stuff. one day if i am feeling brave i will take a picture of my scrapbook stuff...i am afraid a photo will make it all too real. thanks for all your sweet comments through out my posts.
Gina, I think those mugs look like good therapy...they certainly put a smile on my face...and I bet they are cheaper than a therapist! :)
You are awesome! Nice layout. I bet yer husband gets pissy about all the money you spend on cups!
