ask my family, they will tell you that i tend to ignore the rest of the world and them when i find a book i really like. they can all tell you about my finishing the last harry potter book in less than 24 hours or maybe how i brought the one before that to kial's gymnastics tournament and read it whenever she was not actually doing something. and it's not just harry potter books, there are a few other authors that elicit this unmotherly behavior from me, but not too many. well, thanks to kelly, i found another one.
kelly gave me two books to read friday night and by saturday night I finished them. they are by an author named stephenie meyer. the 1st book is twighlight and the 2nd book is new moon...they were so good. i really recommend these books for anyone. they are fun, imaginative and just a little suspenseful and perfect to share with teenagers or even tweens. i loved them. now i can't wait for the next book in the series eclispe. it's coming out in august.
give these books a try and let me know what you think of them...and if you live anywhere near me just ask and i will lend them to you.
one thing i really enjoy is getting my friends addicted to whatever my current addiction is. it just makes life a little nicer.

Gina: This is a lovely blog space, much more pretty and upscale than the one I use!! :)
So I am in the midst of watching the entire series of both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel for the very first time ever, and couldn't help but notice the similarities between the characters described in Twilight (and their situation) and the dynamic between Buffy and Angel...sounds like a good read (so if you want to drop it off to me at Swedish next week...feel free! : ).
And, your friend Kelly's list of sequels to be excited about in 2007 pretty much matches my own (despite the tragedy that was the movie Eragon).
I've never had a Black Iced Tea from Starbucks and I don't know that I want to, after the admittance of your blatant addiction to them...I don't need any more vices in my life at the moment.
We did a blog tag on MS a few weeks back and it was that you post 10 unusual/little known facts/quirks about yourself and then "tag" 10 others to do it too...it was fun, but I liked your "10 Things You Are Thankful For".
Thanks again for all your help...and it's amazing to think that I've known you for most of those 16 years that you and Jason have been together...he's a peach, no doubt about it!!
Keep blogging and I'll keep reading!
Well written article.
