i feel like i go forever between posts now a days. i also never have time to keep up on anyone elses newest blog posts and that makes me sad. i used to be able to read blogs and even post from work, but i can no longer do that and it has hugely reduced my time to blog snoop. i guess that's a good thing since work has gotten so incredibly busy and it sounds like it will just be getting worse in the future.
well, this week has been filled with frustration while i worked on and revised (over and over and over) the program for the nathan hale musical, bat boy, which ceb will be in starting thursday. jason said it felt like i came home from work and went right back to work. i think it's the first time i can remember jas feeling like i was neglecting him & the girls...poor guy. but i sent off my final changes saturday morning and am finally done! YEAH!
saturday started with a volleyball game in the morning. even though we have lost every game so far i think this loss was the hardest on the girls. it was their last regular season game and they were really hoping to win at least one. life lessons, right?
the best part of saturday was going to my scrappin' buddy carlanna's wedding. sadly, jas & i missed the ceremony (i won't go into how jason made us late because he wanted to hem his stupid pants 20 minutes before i told him we needed to leave and i was mad for the whole car ride) but the reception was great. carlanna looked incredible and joe was handsome. the hall was decorated beautifully, the dj was good, the food was fabulous and the party was wonderful.
carlanna's happiness was so apparent and contagious it was impossible not to have fun. her dance with her son jeremy was especially touching because of some recent medical problems he's had that were recently diagnosed. i don't think there was a dry eye anywhere during that dance.
i left feeling really lucky to have so many good things in my life, an awesome husband, amazing kids, a wonderful family and truly good friends. carlanna's favorite saying is live well, laugh often, love much...you can't go wrong there!
