we celebrated new years eve with the girls and kial's bff ella. they went to a church youth dinner while jas and i shared a kid valley bacon cheese burger...yum! then we played games and snacked a little until about 11:30 when jas, ceb & i headed down to the parking lot at jason's work. kial refused to come with us so she and ella missed out on the fun (aka...sitting in the car or risking being wet and cold outside). they watched the fireworks from the warmth of the house. i think i may vote for that next year!
on new years day we went to my uncle's house for a late christmas celebration. we were supposed to go there on christmas eve, but we cancelled due to the snow. i barely took any pictures(no good ones}, but i did at least manage to get everyone in a shot. we had wonderful homemade chicken noodle soup and my mom's amazing oatmeal rolls. then we celebrated my uncles 62 birthday!
it was a good way to bring in the new year!
